May supplemental material be added to my submission?

Yes. Supplemental material, or associated files, may be added to a submission. For students, a necessary supplemental file is the Student Permission Form which gives Dordt permission to post the work and also provides the name of a faculty member who sponsors it.

Can content be removed from Dordt Digital Collections?

Occasionally a valid reason is presented for content removal. Please email archives@dordt.edu with any questions concerning removing content.

Will Dordt Digital Collections publish my material if it hasn’t been published elsewhere?

An institutional repository is not considered a “first publisher” because its role is different from that of a traditional publishing outlet.

An institutional repository is an access and preservation service, not a publishing venue, so depositing work there does not count as first publication.
